Becoming a client:  our process


Our process begins with an initial consultation.


 

We enjoy meeting with potential clients to discuss our services either in person or via videoconferencing.  We offer, free of charge, a time to learn more about you, your family and your financial needs.  The goal of the initial consultation is to take some time to get to know each other. Sometimes this takes a few meetings as we are in no rush and there will be no pressure.  Our goal is to always make sure that a planning partnership will be mutually beneficial for the long-term. 


If we decide to work together, the next phase is to gather relevant information including statements, tax documents, beneficiaries.  Our state-of-the-art cloud storage and financial software will allow you access to see a consolidated view of your financial picture.  It will also give you a central place to store and organize important documents.


We will develop a comprehensive financial plan, incorporating your goals, tax considerations, real estate investments, education strategy, estate planning and compensation packages.  From there we will create an investment strategy for your portfolio.  


We schedule regular updates to formally review financial plans with our clients.  These meetings will take place either quarterly or annually, depending upon your situation.  Between meetings, you can count on us to reach out from time-to-time.  We also encourage clients to be in touch with new developments such as a real estate purchase, grandchildren, a new job or college choice.
